What documents do i need to rent a car in Kalamata?
You will need to bring your driving license with you when you come to collect your car. You must have held a driving license for at least one year.
You will also need a credit card – we need to have it as guarantee for your rental even if you choose to pay cash at the end. Your ID or passport will be also required.
Do you offer free pick-up and drop-off in Messinia?
Yes. We offer free pick-up and drop-off throughout Messinia, including Kalamata International Airport (KLX), Costa Navarino, Pylos, Methoni, Finikounda, Stoupa and Kardamyli. We also deliver your car directly to your hotel, villa or private accommodation anywhere in the area.
Do I need an International Driving License?
Citizens of USA, Canada, Australia & Great Britan can use the national driving licence. Citizens of Non-EU countries are required to have a valid international Drivers’ License along with their regular Drivers’ License.
Can I extend the rental period?
Of course – you can extend your reservation period at any time before the rental. However, this will affect the cost of your rental and it is always subject to availability.
To extend your rental period once you have picked up your car you will need to contact the Kalamata Cars rental location where you are due to return the car.
Can anyone else other than myself drive the car?
Only drivers mentioned in the rental agreement are allowed to drive a Kalamata Cars vehicle. If the car is used by a non-authorized driver the insurance stops to apply.
What are the available payment methods?
All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Pre-paid cards are not accepted.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to collection date.
For cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours prior to collection date, the fee charged equals to a day’s rental cost.
For cancellations within 24 hours of the collection date or on failure to attend the collection on the agreed collection date and time, there will be no refund.
What is the fuel policy?
We deliver the car on a full tank. The renter is obliged to return the car on a full tank otherwise, €100 will be withheld from the amount reserved as a guarantee from the renter’s credit card.
What insurance options are available in Kalamata Cars?
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess amount and Full Damage Waiver.
